Red Planet
Capitalism has failed. What comes next? The fall of the current system is inevitable. A looming climate crisis, growing economic inequality, and the inability – or refusal – of governments to meet people’s needs all point to an impending collapse. It’s more important than ever that we build solidarity and begin developing foundations for the better world we want to have. Red Planet is a different kind of leftist streaming program, focused on talking to people about real work being done, not getting into arguments with right-wingers for clout. Each week, we speak with activists, organizers, creators, and people just like you doing based stuff all around the world and share practical steps for how we can all build the future together. Hosted by KiraChats, DJ Muel, and Conquest of Dread.

Red Planet took the week off from the live show, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to revisit one of our favorite interviews from last year. As it happens, we also were recently contacted by Jay and Isa, our comrades at the ZAD de Notre-Dame-des-Landes and founders of the Laboratory for Insurrectionary Imagination, regarding recent actions by the French government to crack down on radical protest movements -- the Earth defense collective known as "les soulèvements de la Terre" in particular -- and prevent the establishment of other ZADs.
So, this week, we're bringing you our conversation from last November with Jay and Isa, along with a call for solidarity.
